Day 4:
We had high hopes of making it to the opening day at the pool, but the weather had other plans. With almost continual thunder throughout the day and a few sprinkles here and there, there was no way they were going to open the pool... so we headed to the spray park. The kids were a little slow to get in the water, but once they did they were all smiles.
After some fun in the sun/clouds, we headed back home to clean up and head out for some yummy food. Of course, we ended the night with haircuts. Poor Grammie, she probably doesn't love being put to work on her vacation, but we REALLY appreciated it. The haircuts were definitely needed. Thanks Grammie!
And that was the end to our family fun. The next morning we packed up and took the gang (Grammie, Auntie, Mylie and Luke) to the airport. We were sad to see them go... but can't wait to see them again.
Thanks for making the trip and taking the time to play with us! We love you!! We hope you had fun despite the heat :). We sure love spending time with our family!

ReplyDeleteThat splash pad was so much fun... especially after everyone left. I will be making lots of trips to our local ones this summer. So much easier to watch both kids, compared to a pool!
