Not only is she a great photographer... but she is also the sweetest girl.  I knew her back when John and I were at BYU :).  She is truly an inspiration.  

We Love Arts and Crafts

Heaven for my children is a paint brush in hand with the hundreds of colors to choose from.  Well, I can't quite come up with hundreds of colors, but paintbrushes I can do.  

Holiday with Dad

We love it when Dad has the day off.  Last Monday was one of those days.  We started off by getting some things done around the house (which is always good and needed).  But then Dad was ready for some fun.  We picked up lunch at McDonalds and headed for the driving range.  We love to golf.  It was a bit windy, but we still had a good time.  

After golfing we surprised the kids and took them to the movies.  We saw "Hotel for Dogs" (I think that is what it is called).  It was a really cute show... and the kids had a great time.  Dallin even made it through the entire movie.  And Connor just ate and slept, too.  After the movie we picked up takeout and headed to the park.  We love the park.  :)   

The kids had a great day with their Dad.   We just can't get enough of him.. and life always seems to be more fun when he is around.  We just can't wait for another Holiday :).  

Randoms in January

I thought I should include some of the random things that have been going on around here on a daily basis.  They are not much... but it's the little things of life that matter most, right? 

I have been trying to get our house ready to sell.... and well... I guess that means doing the decorating that I should have done 3 years ago.  I finally decided to make these (fabric covered canvases) for the big wall in the family room.  I think they turned out alright... good enough for me.  

Abby decided to join in on the creativity.  She began taking all the scraps of fabric.. and created her own masterpiece.  

Dot-to-Dots are a favorite at our house.  Here is Abby focusing so hard... can't you see her counting :).  

Dallin has been loving life with his trains.  Who knew trains could keep a boy busy for hours?  

I have finally come to the realization (I know, sometimes I am a bit slow) that no matter where I go, my children will follow.  Here is Dallin playing cars in front of the shower... waiting for me to get out.  

Thursdays at the Park

Every Thursday this is where you can find us... at the park.  We love the park.  I finally brought my camera and captured some of the fun.  Enjoy! 

Baby Smiles

Little Connor-man is really starting to smile.  

This isn't his biggest grin, but it is the biggest I can get with a big black camera in front of my face.  He is such a sweet baby - so content and happy just to sit and watch Abby and Dallin dance all around him.  We really do love this little guy.  

Time for a Change

We've finally taken the plunge and switched to "blogger."  So this is it... our new blog!  Our previous webpage (web.mac.com/ellicewirthlin)  will no longer be up and running as of Feb 15, 2009.    Hope no one gets lost in the shuffle and Let's hope I am a better blogger in 2009 :).
