Happy Valentine's Day!

Festivities began around our house early last week.  Tuesday we started by baking cookies and making valentines for Abby's preschool party on Wednesday. Her and Dallin were very proud of their cookies :).  Valentine's morning began early with our traditional heart shaped pancakes with strawberries and whip cream.  Abby then hurried to a birthday party and the boys and I went to watch Daddy play some ward basketball.

After all that exciting fun... we decided to head out for some more family fun ... camping at Garner State Park.  I know.... some might think we are crazy... but we had a great time!
Walking and throwing rocks in the river, building a fire and roasting hot dogs and marshmallows to make smores, and getting up early to eat pancakes and eggs before hustling back to town for church.   It was  definitely a Valentine's day we will always remember.  And it was Connor's first camping trip! We all had a great time... we can't wait to go camping again.

  3. I can't believe how good those cookies look. I made some too, but your frosting could run circles around me. You are a champ.
