'Tis the Season

Months ago, one of John's coworkers informed us that we HAD to get tickets to the Christmas Spectacular. She insisted that it was "the" show to see at Christmas time in NYC. So after a little debating, we bought our tickets and crossed our fingers that the kids were going to be entertained the entire time and Owen wasn't going to cry through the entire thing.

Crisp Morning + Donuts = A Great Start

Waiting in line at Radio City Hall...

Inside the theater had been decorated floor to ceiling for the holiday. It was spectacular. I think my favorite piece was the Christmas Tree Chandelier that hung in the front lobby. It was gorgeous.

Family shot from the balcony. You can see part of the chandelier.

We really enjoyed the show. The Rockettes were fabulous! The kids loved all the lights.. the dancing... the storyline.. the 3D parts ... especially getting to wear the fun glasses... and the live nativity. I must admit the live animals were a great touch. Our seats were great - Everyone could see (thank goodness). And Owen was happy through the entire show. It was a miracle!

After the show we walked down the sidewalk to see, for ourselves, the massive Christmas tree in Rockefeller Center. Amazing!!! It is HUGE!!!

Family shot minus the photographer...

A nice man offered to take a picture of our entire family.
Poor Owen always has the back of his head in all these pictures. I need to remember to pull him out of that carrier.

This photo is one of my favorites from the day. Love this boy.
