Gary Lynn Blackner

July 29, 1935 - September 22, 2010

"Gary was born on July 29, 1935 in Beaver, Utah, and passed away on September 22, 2010 as a result of heart disease. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He received his doctorate from BYU in Psychology. His life's profession and passions included teaching, counseling, and a genuine love of working with young adults. He is survived by his beloved wife Jane of 57 years, and their 8 children: Debbie (Mike) Baldwin, Greg, Don (Marci), Jeff (Kim), Chris (Becki), Julie (Tyler) Wells, JaLynne (Rick) Winters, and Matthew (Mikelle). He has 30 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. He dearly loved his wife and children and desired to have "no empty chairs" in his eternal family. "

We will truly miss this wonderful man. He was so full of love. We are so grateful for the eternal perspective that we have. We will see our Grandpa again. Until then he will be missed greatly.
