I knew the kids would be missing their Grammie, Auntie and cousins terribly, so Wednesday we decided to head to the beach. Lucky for us the weather was perfect! (it was supposed to be thundering in the afternoon) We picked up some friends on the way and off to beach we went to meet more friends. We had a great afternoon!
You can't beat sun, sand, food, and friends.
(well, it can't beat last Saturday with Grammie and Auntie... but it was still a lot of fun!)

This is pretty much what Matthew did the entire 3 hours! He was so cute. He would fill his bucket up like this... then go back to the beach... dump it out... and head back out to the water again - too cute!

It was a great afternoon. The kids were all tuckered out (which is always nice when it comes to bedtime). Thanks Melanie for letting me steal your kids away for the afternoon.
John and I even had time to go on a date later that night. What a great day!
