These bites itch like crazy!!!
One of the benefits of camping in Texas.
In all the years we have camped in Texas (we have been here 5 years now) I have never been bitten by these! They are horrible! Let's hope this is the last.

When I first moved to Texas, Jeremy would tease me about getting bit by chiggers. I thought he was just joking because I never saw any, but I guess I was wrong! Those look painful=(
ReplyDeleteGrowing up here I always was exposed to these itchy beasts. Every year at girls' camp seemed to be the worst. Try putting clear finger nail polish on them. They say it smothers them. Not sure if it is true but I've always tried it and seemed to work.
